Our Leadership
CAPS is globally led by the Founder and President; a fiduciary Board of Directors, known as Trustee Council; a non-fiduciary International Advisory Board; and the management team of Executive Directors supported by office team leads - Directors, Deputy Directors and Associates.
Meet our Team
Founder & President
Our Founder and President is responsible for the strategic vision and goals of the Organisation – including its outlook and resource mobilisation.
Amb. Alie Kabba is a strategic thinker and public service leader with over 25 years of professional experience in executive management and governance, public policy analysis and administration, strategic planning and development, and program design and implementation.
He has served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sierra Leone to the United Nations, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone during 2018-2023 administration of Brigadier (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio – President of Sierra Leone.
Prior to his diplomatic stints, he served as Executive Director of the Chicago-based United African Organization and Public Service Administrator in the State of Illinois, USA.
Trustee Council
The Trustee Council is responsible for strategic direction of the Organisation, the supervision of its independence, the work of the management team and the financial performance of the Organisation.
The Trustee Council Membership is composed of Appointed Members: persons appointed to the Council only; and Non-Appointed Members: Persons holding positions such as the President, the Honorary Vice President, the Executive Director, and Director/Acting Director of the various departments of the Organisation.
International Advisory Board
The International Advisory Board have, as its primary functions, but not limited to, the provision of strategic vision and advise to the Chair of the Trustee Council and the organisation in ensuring a higher standards of corporate governance.
